Text Message Terms

What you will receive

If you choose to receive text messages, Body Balance Therapeutic Massage will send appointment-related messages only: confirmations, reminders, links to manage your appointment or complete your intake form, scheduling changes, and notices when a time on a waitlist you joined opens up. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.

How you opt in

You can opt in in two places on our online forms. On both forms you enter your name, email and phone number, and directly beneath the phone number field you will see an unchecked, optional checkbox. Checking the box is your consent to receive text messages at the phone number you entered on that form. You can book or join a waitlist without checking it. This is a standard checkbox on a web form, not a chat widget or pop-up. The two forms look like the examples below, and each checkbox reads exactly as shown.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies with your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opting out and getting help

Your information

We do not share your mobile number or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider handles messages only to deliver them on our behalf. Your choice to receive email newsletters is separate from your choice to receive text messages; you can choose either, both, or neither.
