Plantar Fasciitis

Every step hurts. That sharp pain in your heel or the bottom of your foot, worst first thing in the morning or after you've been sitting, isn't something you can just walk off. For a lot of people, it doesn't get better on its own. It gets managed around, with different shoes, less walking, maybe a cane.

Plantar fasciitis develops when the band of tissue running along the bottom of your foot, from heel to toes, gets overloaded and starts to break down faster than it can repair. Rest alone often isn't enough, because the tightness pulling on that tissue usually isn't limited to the foot. Your calf muscles and Achilles tendon feed directly into it, and if those stay tight, the foot never gets the relief it needs to actually heal.

Treatment focuses on releasing that tension through the whole chain, not just the arch of the foot, so the fascia has room to recover instead of staying under constant load.

What We've Seen

One client came to us using a cane, unable to walk through a grocery store without a scooter because of plantar fasciitis in both feet. After four sessions, she no longer needed the cane and was walking the store on her own.

Every case is different, and we can't guarantee results. But relief that actually holds, not just a temporary reprieve, is what we're working toward from the first session.
